Loupe WMS
A set of software applications specialized for simplifying and automatization of daily warehousing operations
A set of applications represents a centralized system where various warehousing tasks are handled through a user interface on a handheld device, tablet or warehouse workstation. This makes the tasks at the warehouse efficient and simple, and enables the minimization of losses which are generated through various warehousing processes. The purpose of the system is also a timely and complete delivery to the clients.
This is achieved by Loupe WMS providing insight into the exact location of each product inside the warehouse, the exact time when another order for additional stock supply will be placed and the required quantity and type of goods.
For the company these things in fact represent optimization of stock, while for the client it means that they’ll be able to receive their goods faster, without additional orders or delivery mistakes.
Loupe WMS is used for the control and monitoring the transfer and storage of the warehouse goods. The system covers many processes which are an important part in the transport of goods, acceptance, inventorying, repositioning of goods inside the warehouse, conversion of goods from one form of packaging into another, order picking, stock addition, returned goods, integration with other systems within the supply chain etc.
Acceptance of goods
Loupe WMS enables a straightforward process for handling the deliveries arriving at the warehouse. This process can be adapted to various needs of different companies, essentially making sure that all of the warehouse deliveries will be executed properly in order to reduce costs and save time.
Stock monitoring
Loupe WMS gives the users an option of monitoring the “movement” of any type of warehouse goods, starting with their acceptance, through different re-warehousing, order picking to the issuing of goods to end customer. This enables the warehouse chief insight, at any moment, into the locations with insufficient quantity of goods requiring the filling of storage space, for the order to be processed so that bottleneck situations in order to avoid bottleneck situations during the delivery of goods. The warehousing space is therefore optimized and making sure that the resources are organized in a way which enables easy movement of goods through the warehouse and from the warehouse.

Loupe WMS provides their users with the option of creating efficient methods of storing various goods in the warehouse in a way which takes into account various factors, such as the demand for the goods or the weight of the goods. Thanks to this option, the warehouse is organized in such way that the heavier products or those which are issued more frequently are located nearer to the exit doors for faster order processing. This provides optimization of movement around the warehouse and minimizes the time required for issuing the goods.
Documentation

Besides, each user can, in line with his authorizations, see the information necessary for his scope of work and can create momentary electronic reports and documents required in a very short amount of time. Printing of electronic papers is certainly an available option.

Do we need to think about expanding our warehouse capacities? Do we need to think about a smaller warehouse? How many different transactions has each employee performed per unit of time (day, hour, week…)? Can we think about reducing the number of employees? How can we optimize the employee routes around the warehouse in order to save time? All of these methods of goods tracking can be expanded and altered, in accordance with the demands of the company, customers, legal framework and other requests.
Application parts of the Loupe WMS system:
Exchange of information with the ERP system
Synchronisation of all documents created in the ERP system with Loupe WMS system. Its main role is synchronising all of the documents, related in any way with the movement of goods through the warehouse and the warehouse inventory, created in ERP with the Loupe WMS system.
After being processed by Loupe WMS system, the set of documents is returned to the status Completed, Cancelled, Loaded etc. back to the ERP system for further financial-bookkeeping processing. This service uses different methods for the exchange of information between Loupe WMS and the ERP system, providing for all of the documents to be created in a single location (usually the company ERP), and subsequently transferred from one state to another through various types of processing, right until final processing.
Mobile app
The main idea is user friendliness and minimizing mistakes by warehouse operators.
- For the acceptance of goods, the mobile app guides the operator on its own to a free location where he can leave the goods (in line with the prescribed warehousing policies), which acceptance location the goods which need to be stored in line with a specific work order are located at, the quantity of goods left for storage according to a specific work order etc.
- For the dispatch of goods, the mobile app guides the operator on its own towards the goods needing to be selected for transport, with what series and LOT (in line with the LIFO, FIFO or FEFO method), from which location, the transport location which the goods need to be selected for, the quantity of goods left according to a specific work order etc.
- For the order picking of goods, the app informs the operator on its own what the picking locations are with the critical state of supplies, which goods they need to be filled with and which series and LOT they need to be filled with (possibly which locations the picking locations need to be filled from).
- For the inventorying of goods, the app offers the option of so-called fast inventory (i.e. comparing the actual inventory of goods by locations and series with the logical inventory), as well as large inventory (so called ground zero inventory, with blank check lists). Entire inventorying mainly comes down to scanning and clicking the processing button.
Desktop app
The desktop app, intended for the warehouse chief and other management, represents something of a control app, showing all operations of all warehouse employees at any moment in time, all of the documents (processed and unprocessed) acquired through the synchronisation with ERP, warehouses, warehouse locations, types of warehouse locations, item information is changed, insight is provided into the stock list balance, there is insight into the location of all or individual (filtered) packages and pallets, insight into movement (entry – relocation – exit – return) of specific pallets and packages in any unit in time. Through this app, the warehouse chief can also filter specific warehousing orders to specific operators, monitor the conditions in warehousing locations, correct warehousing documents against the actual state of goods in the warehouse i.e. against the ERP state, conduct various reviews according to various filters (SSCC, date of production, use by date, series, location, shortage, inventory, quarantine, expired, damaged…). He can also create various types of warehousing documents in PDF, EXCELL, WORD, OPEN DOCUMENT, and print them.
